Where and what to eat and drink in Malta

Montana Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2006, Montana

Wine type: Dry, aromatic
Country and Region: New Zealand, Marlborough
Colour: White
Category: Every day drinking
Appearance: Youthful looking pale yellow. Nose: Intense aromas of freshly cut grass and hints of gooseberries and tropical fruit. Palate: Dry, with gooseberry and passion fruit undertone. It is well balanced and finises with a crisp acidity.
Conclusion: Great with grilled prawns or salmon. Would also be a great match with greek salad with feta cheese. Or why not try it with a maltese platter? (Reviewed April 2008)
